Actress Lauren Bacall is credited with spontaneously inventing the name The Rat Pack after seeing a group of actors and singers, including Frank Sinatra, return to their hotel after four nights of boozing in Las Vegas. The essence of this group were Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. The joint performances as Rat Pack at the Sands Hotel Las Vegas later made this name world-famous and unforgotten to this day. Numerous shows and even a musical keep the fascination of the Rat Pack and the three world stars alive until today. Their legendary songs have a place for eternity.
